Guidance for Guests of Community Cafe @ St Ambrose Barlow

What we ask of our guests

We want this to be a safe space for everyone. To ensure this, we ask you to be respectful to all users.

Abuse and threats of violence will not be tolerated.

Please be mindful of where you leave your belongings, so they do not become a trip hazard.

All children and vulnerable people must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and with no exceptions.

As we are staffed by volunteers, we do have to close at 5pm. If you do not feel safe going home, please let one of the volunteers know and we will call the police for you and arrange for a safe space for you to speak with them. Any safeguarding concerns will be reported to the police.

We ask that you do not attend if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or a tummy upset. To ensue the safety of all our guests and our volunteers, we have a zero tolerance on alcohol and drugs. Do not arrive intoxicated with alcohol or drugs and do not drink alcohol or take drugs on site is strictly prohibited and you will be asked to leave.
